MENA HOUSE

Built in the 19th century at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Mena House is one of Egypt’s most iconic heritage hotels. Following the 1973 October War, President Anwar El Sadat ordered its renovation to host an Arab summit, recognizing the hotel’s symbolic and strategic
significance.
FURNITURE FEATURE
S.I.K. executed the fixed interiors for the public areas, F&B outlets, and ballrooms, with all furnishing and design elements inspired by traditional Islamic architecture. The project featured mashrabiya woodwork, intricate arabesque detailing, and geometric patterns, reviving the hotel’s historic character while enhancing its function as a distinguished venue for diplomacy and hospitality.
